Redesigning the Vittles logo

Since then I have started to redesign the vittles logo to make it more simple and as Tat suggested perhaps using the half circle shape around it to work with the sustenance logo. I think it would probably work well with the overall design of the packaging too because its curved a bit on the lid.

I have tried a fair few colours to see which works best and I chose this typeface because it looks a bit like it was hand drawn and thats the effect that I was looking for. Although I was told that the V and where it is cropped looks a bit strange so I might try something slightly different. I think the half circle around it works well though, it gives it a child like yet simple semi corporate feel too.
