Colours and typeface

As this is an Australian company I wanted to use colours that are seen in the environment around us. I thought of using blue, green, red, brown, yellow and orange. As I have gone over to the area of the sun and in effect picturing a landscape I thought red with a slight earthy feel to it for the text and yellow-orange colour for the sun would work well together and would be typically Australian. I change the size of the fingers and palms to make them look more like a child's hand and added a slight curve to the name of the company to make it part of the landscape. The typeface that I used is helvetica because of it has a very light and flat feel to it, which I think works well for the design. I also used lower case to make the design for everyone as upper case can look very strong and masculine while lower case adds a bit of a female touch enabling the logo to appeal to a larger demographic. I might still slightly change the curve in the text so its very very slightly curved.
