I like the use of colour and cartoon style graphics used in this design, it almost looks as the animals are jumping out of the packaging.

Japanese
packaging for food products involves a lot of character and cartoon images
featured on the front and back of the packaging based on the many anime characters and the style of Japan.
I think the use of photography and 3D affect works well together and makes a very interesting visual display for packaging design.

I really like how they changed the packaging graphics to appeal to children especially seeing milk as a friend not only an important part of their diet. I think the colours and design works very well to capture the people's imagination.

I think the use of colour works well although perhaps its a bit too complicated with the chosen graphic, although this is a part of the Japanese trend for packaging design so it does work.

I like the use of letters to look like they are being thrown in the garbage and the use of different colours for each size of product in the assembly line. The use of plain brown material for the background works very well, it has a balancing and playful nature to it. It makes the design simple but would appeal to many different age groups and demographics, which would be useful.

These six designs are from the same company but are of different flavours and may possibly be targeted at different demographics. I think the use of colour and cartoon or illustrated feel works well for the first four designs, it makes it look fresh and contemporary. The last two designs are more corporate in the way photography and darker colours are used for the background making it targeted to a more conservative or higher class market. All of these packaging designs work very well.

I really like this design mainly because its so different and contemporary. Making the packaging look like a banana was an interesting way to go and would diffidently make people think about how the product will taste because it looks so good on the outside of the product.
